An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent static Band 6 Occupational Therapist covering the medical, surgical and respiratory inpatients as part of a friendly team. You will work closely with the team lead occupational therapist to design and deliver a service that offers value for our patients and system, whilst gaining a range of learning opportunities for yourself and those in your team.
This post provides the opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills and knowledge, whilst also contributing to service improvements as part of a quality driven service. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking therapy team.
Main duties of the job
We are very keen to develop our staff through the provision of training and development opportunities, supervision, annual appraisals and opportunities for CPD. We strongly advocate the engagement of therapists with the continuous development of our service.
This post is suitable for a band 5 who is looking for career progression, or a current band 6 looking for a post that provides the opportunity to specialise.
