An exciting opportunity has
arisen for the post of Project Manager to join our friendly and professional
Surgical Division team. This post will support the senior management team, HR
and Finance leads in the delivery on projects relating to the expansion of the
surgical specialities by the development and engagementwith surgical hubs to reduce patient waiting times. You will
also be responsible delivering projects to improve our surgical site infection
rates.
We are looking for a highly
organised, passionate and motivated individual. The post holder
will be a team worker with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and
leadership qualities. They will also have good IT skills and project management
experience.
Responsible for producing
project plans and documentation. Ensure communication is maintained between all
stakeholders throughout the delivery of projects, make sure organisational
procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits
realised from the implementation of change.
The role will be a mixture of
working across the WSFT hospital sites, working from home and travel withinthe county.
Main duties of the job
The
postholder will
be fully embedded in the surgical division, working with integral members of
the clinical and operational team at WSFT and will form strong relationships
with the project leads for the EOC. The successful candidate will also be
responsible for leading on the development of an administrative pathway to
support the collation of surgical site infection data. The project manager will
use their exemplary experience and knowledge to lead successful delivery of the
projects through effective engagement with relevant clinical, financial,
operational leaders and key stake holders.

Project Delivery:
- Leading and managing the delivery of the projects.
- Holding stakeholders to account to ensure effective and timely project delivery
- Acting as a source of specialist knowledge for this project
- Providing project management leadership, expertise, and advice to the division
- Leading effective divisional project delivery with the deployment of established professional project management methodology
