Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the outpatient paediatric team at the Cove Children clinic, within the James Paget team.
You will be working in the Cove clinic to provide direct patient care without supervision.
To maintain Health and Safety of patients and colleagues at all times by complying with all relevant Trust policies.
To be an active member of the multidisciplinary team liaising/communicating as necessary and supervising support staff
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual who has a variety of experience working with children and all age ranges
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and is interested in developing services within the outpatient clinic
Band five experience is essential in order to meet the needs of the service
Main duties of the job
Able to provide holistic care for patients and their families attending The Cove Children's Clinic and other Children's Outpatient Services
Recognise any signs or deviations from the norm.
Give clear and accurate verbal and written reports
Knowledge of "Family Centred Care"
To maintain a safe and child friendly environment Have knowledge of:-
Paediatric resuscitation
Following infection control procedure
Attend clinic supervision session planned by the senior sister
