An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ward 3 Gastroenterology and General Medicine nursing team as a Nursing Associate.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who works well under pressure and is committed to providing excellent, high quality safe and effective care. If you have the skills, ability and drive to fulfil this role then we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Providing direct patient care, completing drug rounds, care planning and implementation of care, documentation within the MDT, working as a team player. Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Essential
- Nursing Associate Foundation degree at academic level 5
Desirable
- Evidence of completing preceptorship programme post registration
- Evidence of attendance at courses/study days post registration pertinent to speciality
Experience and knowledge

- Experience (through placement or employment) of working in an acute clinical enviroment
Desirable
- Experience within speciality may be advantageous
- Evidence of competence in the clinical skill pertinent to speciality
