We are looking for a positive, proactive clinician to help us build a strong future for our Paediatric Occupational therapy team. We very much welcome applicants from qualified Sensory Integration therapists (up to Module 3 or 4), however, there will be opportunities to undertake this training, for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job

You will need advanced communication skills to ensure a successful multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working in close liaison with the other teams including Neurodevelopmental and Physiotherapy. You will be in regular discussions with children, young people and their families, as well as other health, education and social care professionals. You will be responsible for other non-clinical duties such as in-service development ideas, training/supervision of students, therapy assistant practitioners and colleagues. This will include the use of formal appraisal documentation.
