Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ward 5 nursing team as a Nursing Associate.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who works well under pressure and is committed to providing excellent high quality safe and effective care. If you have the skills, ability and drive to fulfil this role then we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

Providing direct patient care , completing drug rounds, care planning and implementation of care, documentation withing with MDT team. working as a team player. Good communication skills verbal and written.

Desirable

Evidence of completing preceptorship programme post registration
Evidence of attendance at courses/study days post registration pertinent to speciality

Experience and knowledge

Essential

Experience (through placement or employment) of working in an acute clinical enviroment

Desirable

Experience within speciality may be advantageous
Evidence of competence in the clinical skill pertinent to speciality

Demonstrates understanding of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team, and the organisation, and how this may contribute to service development.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to actively listen and communicate sensitive or difficult information in a clear and compassionate manner
Good attendance record in previous posts or during training.
