Job summary

Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse in Haematology and Oncology Day Unit.

Assisting in the management of a team of nursing staff and the operational running of the department

Assisting with the management of the unit and the day to day management of the unit in the absence of the manager.

Assisting in managing a group of nursing staff within the day unit.

Responsible for the day to day running of the unit in the absence of the unit manager.

Excellent skills in CVAD management and competency in SACT administration and cannulation.

Co-ordinate patient's care for the day and work closely with other Health Care Professionals

Have a keen interest in the provision of an educational environment where the development of staff is a priority
