Job summary

Band 2/3 Healthcare Assistant

**The successful candidate will be supported to progress to Band 3 after achieving a set of competences.**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department (ED) for a Health Care Assistant.

If you are ready to become a part of a passionate and dynamic team, have six months experience being an HCA and have completed your care certificate or equivalent, we'd be really interested in hearing from you.

Main duties of the job

We are a busy working environment with a high turnover of patients which sees and treats children and adults with a range of conditions including minor injuries, major trauma, medical and surgical emergencies and mental health conditions. Clinical working areas include Majors, Minors, See & Treat and Resus. We have a dedicated clinical practice educator to ensure robust support and education as you begin your new journey.

We have a full time vacancies for motivated Health Care Assistants to join the Emergency Department Team. If you enjoy working in a busy demanding environment and are able to work on your own initiative, then this may be the job for you.
