Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a housekeeper to work within ward 9 & Surgical Assessment Unit.

We are looking for a full time housekeeper to join the friendly ward 9 team.

Ward 9 is a general surgical ward that includes the Surgical Assessment Unit. Ward 9 has 20 beds and SAU has 8 spaces.

Main duties of the job

The WardHousekeeper has an important role in maintaining a high standards of cleanliness due to the nature of theenvironment, being versatile, flexible and adaptable are key requirements.

You will be supervising meal times for patients and assisting with nutrition and hydration to meet our patient's needs.

You will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels, and overall cleanliness of the environment, liaising with catering staff and ensure of safe disposal of waste.

You will need to have had experience of working in a ward area, preferably knowledge maintaining ward cleaning standard and stock control.
