Job summary

We are looking to recruit bank Catering Assistant's (As and when).

Working various shifts within the kitchen and restaurant between the hours of 06:30 AM to 20:30 PM over a 7 day week. (flexible hours and times to suit)

As a Bank Kitchen Assistant/Porter here at the James Paget University Hospitals, you will work to cover shifts in the patient meal services and our main restaurant which serves both the public and our staff.

Main duties of the job

Assisting with some food preparations: making sandwiches/baguettes

Working in the patient meal service area to dish out and deliver patients meals.

Working in the restaurant's different sections to serve food and beverages

Clearing and cleaning working areas

helping with the washing up

Assisting supervisors with the setting up and delivery of catering functions
