Job summary
The post holder will play a key role in proactively developing the effective use and interpretation of information and analytics, providing comprehensive managerial support to support the Care Quality Team, including financial elements.
The role encompasses working proactively to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently as part of a team, autonomously and with colleagues to carry out a wide range of duties to support the Care Quality Team. There will also be various responsibilities and deadlines; therefore, given the nature of this post, the post holder may be required to work in a flexible way to respond to work patterns and internal and external deadlines and requests.

Main duties of the job
- Collation, analysis and interpretation of complex information across a wide variety of Care Quality Directorate priorities.
- Completing timely and accurate information and analysis for local and national reports
- Managing and supporting the delivery of improvement projects and acting as Quality Improvement (QI) Lead across the Care Quality Directorate
- Supporting managers and clinicians in defining their information requirements to meet strategic, operational and clinical needs including business planning, demand and capacity models and benchmarking.
- Being an advocate for change supported by informed decision-making.
- In accordance with national guidelines and timeframes, compile data to support existing statutory reporting requirements, ensuring all validation and submit within the timeframe.
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NHS Data Dictionary and Data Models.
- Using local and national reports to benchmark NWAFT against other trusts.
- Assisting with generating Patient Safety, PDT, NerveCentre, Preceptorship, Hospital at Night, NCAA and Resuscitation monthly Dashboards.
- Provide ad hoc support for Overseas, AHP and Advancing and Enhancing workstreams.
