An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rotational Band 5 Occupational Therapists within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Our full-time post offer you the opportunity to develop skills across the acute inpatient setting. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and professional individuals to join our friendly and supportive Therapy Service (Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy).
Therapy Services sits as part of the wider Rehabilitation Service which includes Dietetics and Speech & Language Therapy. You will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary service. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical and teaching skills and be actively involved in service development. We offer preceptorship, action learning sets, clinical and managerial supervision and performance appraisals.
Cross site working is a MUST for this role.
Our 6-month rotations include:
Orthopaedics (2 rotations)
Stroke
Combined Medicine, Critical Care & Surgery.
Main duties of the job
To take responsibility for continuing to develop as an occupational therapist, both clinically and professionally.
To contribute to the management of patients and the overall development of the team whilst working in all rotational clinical areas/specialities as a Band 5 occupational therapist.
To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team whilst carrying out rotational placements.
