Job summary
This leadership role will encompass:
o Clinical assessment, treatment, care, and support of patients at all stages of their pathway
o Information and support to patients, families, and carers
o Clinical support of senior nursing and medical staff in decisions regarding care and treatment plans.
o Working closely with the Respiratory and Oncology medical and nursing teams.

Main duties of the job
- To coordinate the LCS service at an operational level ensuring the efficient running of the service, effective communication, and dissemination of information, working closely with the commissioners to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide relevant accurate data to the commissioning group to meet KPIs.
- Report to the operational lead and commissioners to develop and raise the profile of LCS service.
- To represent LCS service on relevant management and service development committees within the directorates in conjunction with the manager.
- To provide high quality Audit and regular reports back to the commissioning group on all aspects of the service.
- To have regular coordination meetings with the team
- To ensure that all performance information identified as necessary is collected according to the timescales required.
