Job summary
The Junior Information Systems Developer post is part of the Development Team at the core of the Information Systems Department within the Trust and its community. The role involves working with and developing and support data driven, web and service-related information systems to support the Trust in its day-to-day activities.
Main duties of the job
The primary role of the junior developer will focus on application improvements and to support the smooth operation of the exiting in-house products. You will provide input into the preparation of a high-level designs and work alongside an experienced developer to develop and deliver major functionality or new systems. You will be expected to work independently and creatively on standard and general system changes. You will engage directly with the clinical or administration team to help deliver the improvements. You will be required to demonstrate any new change and discuss possible improvements or required changes with the owner of the change.
