We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support and lead the delivery of cancer services at Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke hospitals. This role will focus on monitoring performance against cancer standards and Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets, as well as developing strategies to enhance service processes and outcomes for both staff and patients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operational management of cancer services, ensuring performance targets are met and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Main duties of the job
- Collaborate with the Directorate of Operations Management (DOM) to meet performance targets and improve service delivery.
- Lead on reviewing and enhancing patient care processes, including the oversight of Patient Initiated Follow-Up (PIFU) pathways.
- Work closely with the DOM and budget holders to ensure services are delivered within financial constraints and support cost improvement initiatives.
- Play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering high-quality patient care.
