Main duties of the job

As a Cancer Tracker, you will work closely with both clinical and administrative staff, as well as other health and social care providers, to manage the inter-trust cancer pathway. Your main duties include monitoring, reporting, and tracking cancer patients to ensure timely and efficient processing of their journeys according to the East of England Best Practice Pathways and National Cancer Waiting Times Targets. You will resolve pathway delays promptly and escalate issues as needed.

Additionally, you will support the MDT Coordination Team by providing administrative assistance to the cancer S/LMDTs, ensuring all necessary paperwork and clinical information is available.
