North West Anglia Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for you, a motivated and inspirational midwife, to join our Maternity Team as a Band 5 Preceptorship Midwife , with plenty of opportunities to rotate in different departments, within the unit. Working in a hybrid model in the community and unit will allow you to maintain a high level of evidence based midwifery practice and to ensure you are proficient in all aspects of midwifery.

Main duties of the job

It is anticipated that the post holder will be competent in skills and management of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care and sufficient experience as would be necessary to underpin changing practice.

The post holder will be expected to work in both community and hospital settings, including a variety of shift patterns, to ensure competence in all areas of midwifery practice.

It is an exciting opportunity to utilise and develop your midwifery skills across low and high-risk settings, as well as gain relevant experience including an Obstetric led (but Midwifery influenced) Delivery Suite with the very popular Midwifery Led Birth Unit.We also offer an extremely comprehensive preceptorship package with a dedicated team to support you and monthly protected time for teaching and reflection.*** Please note we are only able to accept applications from those with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN as we are unable to support OSCE at this time***
