Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Dermatology team for a biologics administrator to:
Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the management, medical and nursing teams involved in the Dermatology Biologics Team.
The Biologics service within the Dermatology Department is supported by a Clinical Lead and 2 Biologics nurses who require administration support to ensure smooth running of the Biologics Service within Dermatology.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will have responsibility for booking follow up appointments, accurate record keeping, and communicating enquiries to an appropriate member of the medical team. Supported by the Admin and Pathways Coordinator, the post holder will develop the biologics service, which will lead to good booking practice and the provision of an excellent support mechanism for both patients and clinical teams.
- Prepare relevant documentation and reports for the MDT and other meetings.
- Post holder is required to deal with incoming calls/messages to the Biologics helpline.
- Deal with patient queries where appropriate or ensure the query is dealt with by the appropriate team member.
