. Exciting, fast paced and challenging environment within the Urgent and Emergency Care Division
Patients mainly with 72 hour discharge plan
Variety of medical conditions from cardiac to respiratory

Main duties of the job
The team is led by the Ward Manager Emma Meade, supported by Band 6 Deputies.
Ward MSSU is a 31 bed medical short stay ward. This is an exciting, fast paced and challenging ward to work on, with a fantastic multi-disciplinary team. We receive our patients from MAU and the Emergency department when they are in need of a short stay in hospital.
A necessity for this role is to have a broad general medicine base. The ideal candidates for these positions would be highly motivated and have a genuine desire to help people in every way they can and also provide the best health care across the board.
