Cancer Tracker & MDT Support - Peterborough

Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Cancer Tracker. The post holder will be responsible for the proactive tracking of patients referred to the Trust on a Cancer Pathway. The role will be complex and challenging but varied and requires excellent organisational and communication skills. The candidate must have good organisational skills, the ability to use own initiative, the ability to show attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Based on the PCH site.

Main duties of the job

To proactively track patients referred on a Cancer Pathway, ensuring Cancer Waiting Times Standards are met. To escalate any potential delays to the relevant Specialities and Cancer Performance Manager. To maintain accurate data through keen eye for detail.

You must enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to prioritise your own workload. You will need good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team, be IT literate, and able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
