Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist, to join our team at our Peterborough City Hospital site.
You will need to be registered or in the process of registering with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the hospital where you will be involved in the delivery of a variety of clinical and core services provided by the pharmacy department.
This post attracts the Trust welcome bonus of £1000 payable in one instalment on commencement. Should you leave prior to 6 months you will be required to repay the full instalment and should you leave within 12 and 18 months of employment you will be required to repay £500. Main duties of the job
The pharmacy department at North West Anglia Foundation Trust are keen to create an environment in which we are able to nurture and grow our own talent.
With this objective in mind we have developed a progression programme which supports the progression of our Rotational band 6 pharmacists into band 7 posts.
This is implemented through a structured competency programme which band 6 pharmacists can enrol on enabling their progression to Rotational band 7 without the need for additional recruitment process, if the requirements of the programme are met over a minimum of an 18 month period.
