Job summary
Are you an Allied Health Professional who is passionate about delivering efficient and effective high quality care? Our services are both in and outpatient across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics and speech & language therapy. Services are delivered across the 3 Hospital sites of Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford & Rutland.
You will require significant leadership and management experience with the skills to lead and work collaboratively. Our workforce is talented, innovative and dedicated and the role will provide the management and leadership to drive and support the service improvement and development plans together with ensuring the day to day operational support and performance management.
A proven record in transformation, project management and an ability to manage several complex workstreams at any one time are essential. An alignment to Trust values and behaviours are essential together with a real focus onsystem thinking or with a system perspective.
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will require 5 days per week cover.
Main duties of the job
- Work with our Rehabilitation Services Specialty teams, developing and implementing local workforce and service development plans and ensuring achievement of performance objectives.
- Work within the Rehabilitation Services Management Team to provide operational business management and planning support across all the Rehabilitation Services areas.
- Be accountable for the efficient and effective operational management of Rehabilitation Services ensuring provision of a high-quality clinical services.
- Work closely with the Rehabilitation Services Manager (RSM) to lead the strategy, vision and future workforce plans, and to deputise for RSM as appropriate.
- Support and lead Trust-wide and system-wide developments
- Support and drive a quality improvement culture across Rehabilitation Services.
- Participate in the Trust's senior manager on-call (SMOC) rota.
