Healthcare Assistant, Eye Clinic - Huntingdon

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly and dynamic team in Eye Clinic at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

The nursing team work closely with the medical and allied health professional team in order to provide effective care, which is patient centred.

Previous outpatient experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.

We would encourage you to contact the team and arrange to visit the department to take a look at some of the unique aspects of the role.

Main duties of the job

Assist with the assessment and care of ophthalmology patients.

Support nursing and medical staff to deliver a high standard of care.

Duties will include, support of team in theatre for injection clinics.

You will be required to learn and perform several imaging tests, all of which are computer based.
