Job summary

We are looking to recruit a head of Nursing for Medicine division for a 12 month secondment. The post will cover our 3 sites where there is inpatient and outpatient care services present. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic proven leader to help deliver quality care to the patients in our catchment area. The post holder will deputise for the Medicine Divisional Nurse Director. We cover 13 in patient wards with a further 3 planned in next year at Peterborough City Hospital, 5 inpatient wards at Hinchinbrooke site and at Stamford a 22 bedded ward.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have a number of direct line management opportunities across our Matron and Lead Nurse team in conjunction with the DND. They will have a portfolio which will include governance. This will include risk management , Incident reporting and investigating, Complaint management, ensuring a variety of divisional reports are completed to timeframe.
