Hospital at Night Senior Healthcare Assistant - Peterborough

Job summary

We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual to work as a senior healthcare assistant with the hospital at night team. You will be patient focussed and support in the provision of a high quality of care during all out of hours' time periods.

Main duties of the job

  • To work as a member of the hospital at night team, assisting Critical Care Outreach, ward staff and medical staff in the provision and continued development of an efficient and high quality service
  • To carry out a defined range of clinical skills and duties involving direct care as directed by and in support of critical care outreach, medical staff and duty manager
  • To report any changes in the condition of the patient or untoward incidents to the registered practitioner responsible for care
  • To assist with other duties as required to facilitate the hospital at night service which may include supply of equipment and administrative tasks, to optimise patient experience
  • Duties and responsibilities for the role will be discussed and agreed each shift with the critical care outreach practitioner.
