Clinical Fellow in Respiratory CCLI

Job summary
This is a 6 month Clinical Training Fellowship post based within the Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection (CCLI) at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post is open to internal medicine trainees or specialist registrars in Respiratory Medicine (as out of programme experience during specialist training or post CCT) and is ideal for Respiratory Trainees with an interest in Lung Infection including the management of non-tuberculous mycobacterial, -fungal and complex bacterial pulmonary infections, cystic fibrosis medicine and respiratory immunology.
Main duties of the job
Participation in inpatient care provision for patients with cystic fibrosis and lung infections as part of amulti-disciplinary team.
Participation in specialist clinics for cystic fibrosis, complex lung infections and Immune deficiency under guidance of CCLI Respiratory and Immunology consultants.
Participation in assessment and supervision of patients on home intravenous antibiotic programmes through ambulatory care unit.
