Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious clinical professional to join the Chief Nurse directorate and professional leads in the leadership and provision of clinical expertise in quality improvement (QI) and transformation.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated, and innovative individual who will lead collaboration across the Trust in the development of a culture of continuous quality improvement. The post-holder will possess expertise in quality improvement frameworks for example Six Sigma and Model for Improvement, transformational leadership and change management.
We are seeking candidates who have a clinical background and an active professional registration.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have corporate and clinical responsibilities within their role to lead on the Trusts Quality Accreditation Programme (Ward Accreditation), and harm free care, with support from specialist clinical roles leading on certain areas of compliance and harm free care to improve patient care and outcomes.
You will oversee the Trust's approach to quality compliance and lead on activities to provide ward to board assurance and CQC preparedness.
The post holder will work directly and collaboratively within services on areas of compliance and quality improvement, while being part of the Clinical Governance team under the line management from the Deputy Director of Quality and Risk.
The post-holder will be given the opportunity for professional development through opportunities internally and externally to the Trust.
