Our pharmacy Homecare Team are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team. The department supports patients receiving medicine via homecare services across the Trust with patients living countrywide.
You will be key to processing all aspects of work related to pharmacy homecare invoicing of medicines for our homecare patients. Experience is not necessary but a keenness to learn new skills is essential. We will ensure you have all the appropriate training to ensure your success in this role.
This is a varied role in which no two days will be the same. If you want to work in a specialised team and be a valued team member then this is the role for you.
Main duties of the job
In working with the pharmacy homecare team, you will be processing the invoices for payment by the Trust finance team for quick payment to suppliers. You will also be responsible for talking with suppliers and the Trust finance team, dealing with differences in invoicing before processing for payment. Other duties involve communicating with suppliers to chase up outstanding invoices or credit notes in a timely manner.
You will be required to use the Wellsky pharmacy stock control system (full training will be provided) to complete invoicing and publish reports when required. You will also be using the pharmacy homecare database and spreadsheets. As part of the pharmacy homecare team will be working alongside colleagues from the procurement department to provide cover and be trained in pharmacy procurement invoicing and any other departmental administrative duties required to be carried out. Upskilling and the opportunity to progress from Band 2 to Band 3 is available for this role.
