Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Senior Data Quality & RTT Administrator to join its Referral to treatment (RTT) & Data Quality team.

This is a leading role that will offer the successful candidate a wide range of opportunities to contribute to the development of the team and to the Trust's overall data quality performance.

The RTT & Data Quality team is responsible for improving the quality of patient information in the Trust PAS (Patient Administration Systems) system (Lorenzo), through pathway validation, reporting and training, ensuring Trust wide and national submissions are as accurate as possible. The team is integral to the Trust's performance management framework and its excellence in interpreting RTT guidance and working knowledge of Lorenzo, plays an important part in operational decision-making regarding pathway management.

The team sits within the Trust's Finance directorate, supporting the delivery of the department's strategies and service development plans, in line with the Trust's vision, values and strategic goals.

Main duties of the job

You will need to possess strong Referral to treatment (RTT) knowledge as well as excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge effective and collaborative professional relationships both within the team and with operational services and clinicians.

You will have excellent Microsoft and problem-solving skills, and will need to interpret and evaluate complex, multi-faceted information, to provide accurate pathway validation and reports. You will assist in the supervision and provide support to the Data Quality team in their validation of pathways, using the trust validation system (PatientPathwayPlus). You will be required to lead in the correct reporting of the Trust pathway data, both within the Trust and to external organisations, liaising with external partners in developing our validation systems where required, to ensure the trust is capturing and reporting accurate data.

The Senior Data Quality & RTT Administrator will be required to work closely with internal stakeholders by reporting data quality issues and supporting the department in developing trust processes and providing RTT training, to improve the trust's reporting position. The successful candidate will develop expertise in RTT guidance and application but will also be expected to understand all areas of activity.

The role sits within the Finance Directorate but will work closely with operational directorates to deliver the requirements of the role and to deliver increasing collaboration between all departments.
