The Healthcare Support Worker role is a great starting point to begin a lifelong career in Healthcare or an excellent opportunity to gain new skills and experience.

One of the most amazing aspects of this role is you will meet people from all walks of life. The healthcare support worker role is a key role in the healthcare team. You can make such a positive impact and difference on a patient and the care they receive. We know the work we do is rewarding but tough. We have an extensive support system in place for staff support who can offer 24 hour support and guidance to help you look after yourself whilst caring for others.

Whilst you may have experience in a care or hospital setting you may not have completed your Care Certificate, which is essential for this role. If so we would still like you to apply and if offered a post you will be employed initially on a band 2 salary, pay step 1 but on completion of the Care Certificate (generally within 12-16 weeks) you would move to the Band 3 salary, pay step 1
