Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CPAP Associate
Practitioner to join our CPAP Practitioner Team. This position would ideally suit
an individual with a caring and positive attitude who strives to make the
patient feel valued, while upholding the Trust values of Compassion, Excellence
and Collaboration.
With our patient
cohort currently in the region of 17000, and ever expanding we are looking for
an individual who embraces innovation, with the motivation and passion to work
both autonomously and within our team providing care, support and management
for patients with Sleep Disordered Breathing
Main duties of the job
Our Practitioners are predominately based in the outpatient
department at Royal Papworth Hospital and travel independently across several
locations in the East Anglia region to support outreach clinics.
Health education and promotion plays a significant part in
our role. The Team initiates on a weekly basis 40-50 new patients on treatment;
maintains our telephone and e-mail support services; delivers review clinics
for patients both virtually and on a face to face basis.
As someone with excellent communication skills you will be
expected to work both alongside members of our team and autonomously,
delivering exceptional care to our CPAP patients with professionalism and
compassion.

- N.V.Q. Level 3 or equivalent qualification or Diploma Qualification.
- Knowledge of CPAP, assessment methods acquired through formal training, short courses or equivalent experience at a Band 3 level.
