Job summary
As part of the Digital training team you will deliver high quality training for new staff, showing them how to use our electronic patient record and other IT systems. Ideally you will have experience of working in Healthcare or with electronic patient records but you must have a passion for education and training. We are a small team and therefore being a strong team player and the ability to work flexibly will be required for this post.
We spend several days a week onsite at the Hospital but the rest of the time we work from home creating training material to support our face-to-face training sessions. In order to create this training material you must be able to produce and deliver well written, concise content with strong attention to detail. Experience working with Adobe Captivate would be an advantage.
As part of this role you will deputise for the training manager and therefore will gain some line management experience. You will also develop to be a subject matter expert in the Hospital's electronic patient record system, being able to troubleshoot in training sessions and real-life situations. The team offers training for any new Digital systems introduced to the Trust so the ability to adapt training styles and work effectively with staff outside the department will be essential.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role are
*Delivering face to face Digital training sessions for the Trust
*Training new staff to use our electronic patient record system (Lorenzo)
*Creating eLearning and video training material
*Writing quick reference guides and other supporting material to accompany our training sessions
*Supporting Trust staff with using our systems and applications
*Deputising for the team lead when required
