Job summary
Following a restructure in our Emergency Operations Centres (EOC), an exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are currently looking for an EOC Systems Coordinator.
The EOC Systems Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing coordination and testing of all systems within EOC, supporting the implementation and development of new and existing systems within EOC in order to deliver national and local operational targets and maintaining, enhancing and ensuring compliance of all systems within EOC.
Should you be unsuccessful in a substantive position, there may be an opportunity for a secondment linked to this role and Pathways.
Main duties of the job
The EOC Systems Coordinator is responsible for:
- The ongoing coordination and testing of all systems within EOC.
- Supporting the implementation and development of new and existing systems within EOC, in order to deliver national and local operational targets.
- Coordinate exercise and testing within EOC.
- Supervise and support knowledge management administrators.
- Developing working relationships with colleagues within own organisation and other organisations that are productive in terms of supporting and delivering your work and that of the overall organisation.
- To ensure that planned changes are communicated positively to all EOC staff.
- To consult and listen to comments from key stakeholders (managers, staff etc) in order to develop ways that the service could be improved.
- Implement testing and exercise programmes and audit procedures of all systems to ensure they are fully tested on a regular basis before implementation onto live system.
