Administrator – Estates & Facilities (PFI Estates)

Job summary

The Estates & Facilities team has been restructured with a view to driving innovation and improvement across our services to meet the increasing requirements of the trust.

We are currently recruiting a dynamic and committed administrator to further develop the administrative support service already in place to support the PFI Contract & Facilities Management team.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator, you will ensure the support provided from an administrative and secretarial perspective frees up Senior Managers, Facilities and project managers and advisor time helping to ensure their time is optimised to benefit the people using our services.

A high-quality administrative service is integral to the success of the service, and we are looking for someone who feels they can work with this growing team leading them to even more success.You will be self-motivated and able to work effectively, in what can at times be a pressurised environment supporting and leading a team to achieve deadlines. You will have good networking skills able to approach, discuss and advise the management and clinical teams, the support you and your team will provide.

You will be a person who is able to celebrate the team's achievements but also bring new and effective ideas to enhance the administration and secretarial provision. You will be able to complete reviews of systems and processes and work with the team and management to implement improvements as necessary.

The role will require excellent and proven communication skills, organisational skills, and a good working knowledge of Teams, Excel, and word processing with the ability to work independently but able to accept direction from the Line Manager as required.

We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country.
