We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sustainable Procurement Specialist, based in Sheffield. In this important role will see you supporting the Sustainable Procurement team to ensure that the Facilities & Office Solutions Category Management Service (CMSP) at NOE CPC undertake their procurement and contract management in adherence with sustainable procurement principles and national policies.

Main duties of the job
Your key responsibilities will include
o Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships across both the Facilities & Office Solutions Category Management Service and externally as a subject matter expert in sustainable procuremento To lead on the compliant embedding of sustainable procurement principles into upcoming framework tendering, including, but not limited to social value, carbon reduction plans, Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment and modern slavery within the function.o To play a key role in the unlocking of sustainable procurement outcomes throughout framework contract management.o To support the Sustainable Procurement Manager in the scoping, establishing and delivering of sustainable procurement initiatives across NOE CPC.o Responsible for continuation, creation and ongoing nature of sustainable procurement reporting in the Facilities & Office Solutions Category Management Service.o Representation, when required, for sustainable procurement both internally and externally through the Facilities & Office Solutions Category Management Service.o Ensure that NOE CPC delivers a high quality, excellent value service with cost effective savings whilst remaining contractually compliant throughout.

Creative and innovative in supporting the creation of procurement frameworks that seek to embed both social and environmental sustainability. Organised, with exceptional attention to detail. Passionate about contributing to the improvement of NHS services.
