About us

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. Job responsibilities

You will be required to provide expert clinical leadership to the teams, working in partnership with senior colleagues and spend at least 70% of your time in clinical practice.

In conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team for CRISS and the Acute Care Services you will lead the development of practice highlighted within the Acute Care Excellence and support increased levels of skills, competencies and confidence in all areas of practice.

One of the priorities will be to support the ongoing implementation of the recent changes to the CRISS model, changes that were underpinned by the Core Fidelity Standards of Crisis Resolution Teams. These projects will include re- embedding a robust gatekeeping process, facilitating early discharge and the review and development of evidenced based interventions within home treatment.

This post will support the continuing development of excellence in clinical practice in the CRISS and the Acute Care Service within the framework of the Acute Care Excellence programme leading to the delivery of high quality acute mental health care.

The post holder will also have the responsibility of providing a significant level of clinical practice and practice development.

They will work closely with Clinical Operations Managers and Clinical Team Managers for Acute Services to identify learning and development needs for staff and support the implementation of projects within the Acute Care Excellence.
