Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Leeds Older People's Service (OPS) on a 2-year contract. The post involves working with qualified Clinical Psychologists in the Memory Assessment Service (MAS) in both South and North localities. The role includes supporting specialist neuropsychological assessment of older people presenting with cognitive change, as well as co-facilitating Cognitive Stimulation Therapy groups for people recently diagnosed with dementia.
There may be opportunities for supporting the work of clinicians working into other parts of the OPS, including research, audit and evaluation activity. The team maintains strong links with the University of Leeds, and the Doctoral programme in Clinical Psychology, and we have a strong track record in supporting Assistant Psychologists to successfully apply for clinical training. We are aware that individuals from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups continue to be underrepresented within the psychological professions. Main duties of the job

You must have a degree eligible to hold Graduate Basis Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS to be offered this post. To maintain anonymity at shortlisting, proof of this will be requested as necessary after application and before interview.
