We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced pharmacist to join our pharmacy team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist for Older Adults.
This role is ideal for either an experienced Specialist Clinical Pharmacist looking to take the next step in their career, or an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist looking to broaden their leadership skills and clinical portfolio.
About the Role - You will lead delivery of clinical pharmacy and medicines management to patients in our older adult inpatient units, including specialist dementia units. You will be part of our senior leadership team, providing strategic direction and professional support to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at The Mount. You will drive service development and improvement initiatives.
About You - We are looking for a pharmacist who is passionate about improving outcomes for older adults and people with dementia. You will have experience working in secondary care, demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, organisational abilities, and excellent communication skills.
What We Offer - You will be supported through ongoing personal and professional development in general and mental health pharmacy. You will develop clinical leadership and management, working alongside advanced clinical pharmacists under the guidance of lead pharmacists
Main duties of the job
At LYPFT we have a range of general and specialist mental health services including inpatient Adult and Older Peoples, Forensic, Recovery and Rehabilitation and community psychiatric care to the population of Leeds, forensic and CAMHS services to the population of York and tertiary specialist services such as Child and Young Peoples Service, Yorkshire Centre for Eating disorders and the National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine.
