Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience to support Forensic Services and to make a positive difference to patients who require specialist mental health services and wider support. The post holder will work as part of a team to ensure an effective and efficient administration service is provided.

The role includes undertaking clerical and administration tasks on behalf of the Forensic Services. The post holder will be responsible for supporting telephone and email enquires, along with updating records via electronic care records system, and the audio transcribing mental health documents and assessments by clinical teams. They will contribute to the day to day running of services and will support processing of referrals, written communication with service users, liaising with outside agencies and other professionals as well as supporting a number of meetings across different forums.

This post is a hybrid post, with some working from base at Newsam Centre Leeds, and some time working from home.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a busy administrative environment. It is essential they have experience of using Microsoft Packages, in particular Work, Excel and Teams.
