Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience, to support Veterans services and to make a positive difference to Armed Forces Veterans who require specialist mental health services and wider support.
The post holder will work as part of a strong team to ensure that an effective and efficient administration service is provided.
The role includes undertaking clerical and administration tasks on behalf of Veterans Services. The post holder will be responsible for supporting telephone and email enquiries along with updating records via the electronic care records system. They will contribute to the day to day running of the services and will support processing of referrals, written communication with service users and other professionals and supporting a number of meetings across different forums.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a busy administrative environment. It is essential they have experience with using Microsoft Packages, in particular Word, Excel and Teams.
We need:
- A team player to work in a multi-disciplinary team, who has proven secretarial experience and able to deliver accurate high quality work.
- A self-motivated person with excellent time management skills and able to achieve deadlines.
- An excellent communicator, with proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently and accept direction from the Team Coordinator
- Word processing skills to a high level, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of electronic systems i.e. CareDirector or similar
- Someone who enjoys a varied role, with the ability to problem solve and resolve issues as they arise
