Job summary
We are currently seeking a Band 5 nurse to work within Forensic Services. It is an exciting development opportunity.

Forensic Services have a strong sense of team, and we are keen to support and develop new members of staff. This post is open to experiences nurses only; newly qualified nurses must have completed their preceptorship in order to be considered for this opportunity.
Main duties of the job
You will have excellent communication skills, be self-assured, emotionally resilient and adaptable to service user needs. Maintaining clear boundaries and consistencies within the team, Nurses will be working closely with and under the guidance of the wider MDT and will require an understanding of the Mental Health Act and the criminal justice system.
You will offer support and supervise the practice of junior staff including students, in order to ensure safe and effective Nursing practice. You will be closely involved in all stages of care and treatment from assessment to recovery for both male and female service users. You will be supported to continue your professional development in line with Forensic Service training strategy.
