Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Consultant Physician General Medicine and Diabetes-Endocrinology to further develop our highly rated Diabetes services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity, and it is anticipated that there will be occasion for the appointee to develop a sub-specialty interest within the role.
The post will suit individuals with the desire and resolve to provide modern, high-quality care. We will also consider flexible working options, subject to the exigencies of the service.

- Entry on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview

- Specialist interest or additional qualifications in other areas of diabetes/endocrinology
Experience

- Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for CCT in Diabetes and Endocrinology and GIM
- Experience of supervising Resident doctors
- Experience of risk management and quality governance
