Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and guidance to managers.
- Support and influence the management of sickness absence, including data reporting and attendance at relevant meetings.
- Support resolution of informal and formal employee relations cases - conduct, performance, concerns resolution.
- Promote colleague wellbeing and help foster a positive staff experience, contribute to creating a supportive workplace culture.
- Champion best practice in HR by coaching and developing line managers.
- Gather and analyse workforce metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Promote and support the delivery of national staff surveys and action planning.
- Assist with job evaluations and job description advice.
- Support policy development and national HR initiatives.
- Contribute to project work and ensure you stay up to date with employment legislation.
