Job summary
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trustare seeking a motivated and detail oriented Associate Director of Operations (Site and Flow) to support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) in leading operational delivery and developing a broad-based clinical service that provides safe, sustainable, high quality, and cost effective care that is innovative and responsive to the needs of patients at SFHFT. It will be a dual role, focused for 30% of the time on getting the operational teams to become digital ready, ensuring that live bed management data is available and accurate via Nervecentre, that the EPR program is supported operationally on the wards and departments in relation to flow and site management, and 70% of time on the day to day management of the site and flow teams

Main duties of the job
The ADO will support specific areas of the operations including the following areas:
- Site Management
- EPR readiness, delivering accurate and high-quality live bed information
- Improving Nervecentre DQ in relation to site and flow management
- Operations Control Centre
- Effective Capacity Management
- Escalation management and processes
- Day to day leadership of improvement programs related to flow, and site operations.
- Training and development of site team
- Improvements to the use of nervecentre to support effective flow and bed management
- Represent SFH at System/Regional/National forums, acting as SFH lead for system escalation calls
