Job summary

DSFS Ltd are looking into recruiting to the position of Corporate Services Manager

The role supports the Managing Director's Office, Board processes, corporate governance frameworks, risk management activities, and sensitive assignments that require a physical presence.this position ensures essential onsite continuity to uphold service resilience. There is an onsite requirement determined by operational needs specific to the service, rather than representing an arbitrary exception to general policy.

Serving as a senior member, the Corporate Services Lead offers both strategic and operational guidance to the Assistant Director of Corporate Services & Strategy, as well as the Managing Director's Office.

A critical position in formulating, implementing, and maintaining the corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and performance strategy throughout all DSFS initiatives.

This involves facilitating the smooth operation of the DSFS Limited Companies Board, upholding organisational compliance, encouraging governance enhancements and assurance, and ensuring the Managing Director has robust oversight of progress on major deliverables and meets external standards set by the Parent Company (Chesterfield Royal Hospital).

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and confidence to work across diverse corporate functions.

Main duties of the job

Deliver strategic and operational support to plan, coordinate, and optimise the effectiveness of Company Board meetings, Performance Meetings, and Contract Meetings.

Oversee the preparation, quality control, and punctual submission of governance and performance reports for the Board and key stakeholders.

Consistently uphold and enhance DSFS governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Build and sustain strong cross organisational relationships with the Trust and wider partners to support stability, compliance, and effective decision making.

Establish comprehensive risk management and incident reporting procedures throughout all DSFS areas, encouraging the consistent and proactive utilisation of risk systems.

Support the ongoing development and implementation of governance best practice across DSFS Limited Companies.

Assist Directors in comprehending governance requirements and ensure that all actions and decisions are accurately documented, monitored, and executed.
