Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Skilled Trades Person/Painter & Decorator

The closing date is 15 March 2026

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to manage all aspects of the operational estates service provided to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will need to demonstrate strong team working skills; have extensive experience of working in an Estates/FM environment (ideally in the Public Sector) and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This post will play a key role in meeting the estates key performance indicators.

There will be occasional requirements to work outside the normal estates hours (08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday) to carry out works which cannot be completed in hours and so a flexible approach to working hours is required.

The role will require occasional travel to our customers based outside of Chesterfield Royal Hospital, such as the community clinics that we manage for Royal Primary Care.

Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Limited currently do not offer a Certificate of Sponsorship, any applications which require sponsorship will not be considered.
