We are looking for a full time Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly and dynamic CAMHS Reception and Administration Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied role which provides a courteous and professional front of house service along with back office administration on a rota basis between 2 sites.
Please note this role does not meet the Home Office criteria for the Trust to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship, any applications that require sponsorship will not be considered.
Main duties of the job
To act as an Admin Assistant/Receptionist within our CAMHS Team. Providing a comprehensive and courteous clerical service to CAMHS. To ensure a professional co-ordination and telephone/reception service and maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will work as part of a team, providing support of the highest quality where there is a need for accuracy.
You will be required to work over 2 sites in Chesterfield.

To act as an Admin Assistant/Receptionist within our CAMHS Team. Providing a comprehensive and courteous clerical service to CAMHS. To ensure a professional co-ordination and telephone/reception service and maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will work as part of a team, providing support of the highest quality where there is a need for accuracy.
Support to the CAMHS Service:1. Answering the telephone and other queries, taking messages accurately and promptly;2. Opening, dealing with and distributing post, and other internal communications in a timely manner;3. Taking patient referrals from the Choose and Book system and updating SystmOne with this information.4. Photocopying;5. Audio typing6. Accurate and timely recording of appointment outcomes7. Filing of reports and correspondence in patients case notes, in accordance with hospital procedures.Maintain patients case notes including updating and documenting any changes in patient details.8. Operating IT systems, including but not limited to, Medway, SystmOne and email as required.9. To action locally-defined administrative procedures specific to the Division or department to which they are assigned10. Undertake clerical duties associated with the discharge or transfer of patients from the Consultant, Doctor or Therapist care. To book follow up appointments and ensure the safe return of patient case notes are returned to the appropriate departments.11. Undertake ad hoc messenger duties as required.12. To demonstrate a flexible approach to the Department where there is a need for cross cover duties where appropriate.13. Be proactive in escalating any concerns of any kind to Line Management14. Any other duties within the Care Unit, which may be delegated from time to time by the Line Managers
