PATIENT & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
37.5 HOURS PER WEEK - MONDAY-FRIDAY
Salary: £24,169 per annum - AfC Band 2
Monday = 7:45am to 3:45pm
Tuesday = 9:00am to 5:00pm
Wednesday = 9:00am to 5:00pm
Thursday = 7:45am to 3:45pm
Friday = 8:30am to 4:30pm
A permanent full time vacancy has arisen for Patient and Administrative Support Assistant to work as part of the Children's and Adults Therapies and Dietetic Administration Services.
Main duties of the job
You will provide full clerical and reception support to the Children's and Adults Therapies & Dietetic Services. You will undertake general clerical duties for the Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech and Language Therapy Services for Children and Adults.
You will possess or be working towards a typing/word processing/IT qualification (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of general office practices. You must also have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise your workload and work effectively on your own and as part of the admin team.
Experience within an office environment together with experience of dealing with members of the public and general telephone enquiries is essential.
