Job summary
We are pleased to be able to offer a Trainee/Qualified Nurse Practitioner role within our Neonatal Department. As a member of the team you will provide skilled and experienced intervention and would be integral in our ambition to develop and embed this role at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The neonatal team are looking forward to welcoming you and supporting the successful candidates to ensure that this role is a success and impacts positively on the care that we can offer to neonate and their families.
Main duties of the job
The trainee/ Qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will work within the Multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide clinical care and management for babies and their families within the Neonatal ward setting.
You will support the MDT with delivery of care on Trinity (Post-natal ward) and The Birth Centre / theatres at delivery.
You will be an experienced clinician and provide continuity to support the Neonatal Consultant team in delivering the care aspired to by the unit.
