The Eye Centre at Chesterfield Royal Hospital are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, motivated individuals to join our team to provide a comprehensive diagnostic imaging service. You will provide a supportive role in all specialities within the Eye Centre to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
As part of the multidisciplinary team within The Chesterfield Eye Centre, the post holder will provide a complex, specialist, diagnostic imaging and clinical investigation service to patients of all ages suffering from diseases of the eye and visual system. The post holder will undertake primary interpretation of results to provide accurate and detailed reports for review of our clinical team.
The post holder will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service. They will accomplish this with the provision of the highest possible standards of individualised patient care.
Flexibility is required within this post as the department provides a service that includes daytime, evening and some weekend clinics.

About us
Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
